Can I really use it for free?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 3 active projects with full manual measurement, counting, takeoff rules, and basic export. No time limit, no credit card.

What's the difference between monthly and annual?

Annual billing gives you 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and get 12. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.

Is this only for electricians?

TakeoffPad works for any trade. Pre-loaded defaults are available for electrical and plumbing, but all materials, rules, and point types are fully configurable for your trade.

Can multiple people use one account?

Yes. The Team plan includes unlimited members with separate logins, roles (owner, admin, member), and email invitations. All team members share projects, materials, and rules. Pro also supports small teams.

How accurate is the AI detection?

It gets you to 70-90% of the count depending on drawing quality. You review every detection and accept or reject it — nothing goes into your quote without your approval.

Where is my data stored?

On our servers in Europe. Your drawings, quotes, and data are not shared with anyone. AI detection sends individual sheet images to the AI provider for analysis — nothing is stored by the AI provider.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel immediately at the end of the billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled anytime — you keep access until the end of your paid year. No auto-renewal on annual plans.
